Blue

The Link gallery are having an exhibition beginning on April 1st running to April 4th called 'Blue' who are asking for submissions to have a blue dominant colour. I like how it's a very simple idea basing work on just one colour- which can also be in any medium too. So basically our possibilities are endless.

 I decided to base mine on my time in Switzerland ski-ing because basically whenever I go I feel like I can almost touch the blueness of sky because I am so high up, which is also added to the fact that ski-ing makes me feel on top of the world. I know the project is called 'Blue' but I like how these images mean something to me, and not just something random. 

I edited the originals on Photoshop and just played around with them this way. I like this way of working as I always discover something new on Photoshop that I haven't discovered before. .. And anyway, If I tell you how I edited them, my secrets will be revealed! 

I think what did it for me with the final images was the way they look quite illustrated, and I think that's what adds that final quality to them.
